"1931 was a monumental and historical year for the Ford Motor
Company, as it was the final year of the Model A... Changes were
minor and included a new radiator shell with a relief effect and
slightly revised running boards. Power was from a 202.5 cubic-inch
four-cylinder engine offering 40 horsepower and backed by a
three-speed manual transmission. Mechanical brakes were located on
all four wheels."-Conceptcarz
This 1931 Ford Model A Four Door Phaeton is finished in Washington
Blue with a light blue pinstripe and black fenders. The older paint
finish shows well with good depth and shine. The exterior features
dual cowl lights, a chrome stone guard and glass wind wings. A rear
luggage trunk although not installed comes with this Phaeton.
The interior upholstery is finished in brown leatherette which is
starting to show some wear but is fully serviceable. The
convertible top, which could be original, is heavily patinaed but
will still keep the elements at bay.
Unlock the steering column, pull the choke while pushing on the
starter button and this 1931 Ford Model A comes to life. This
Phaeton runs and drives as would be expected from a car of this
vintage.
