1983 Hurst Olds 15th Anniversary
It is a great find if you can spot a real 1983 Hurst Olds 15th
Anniversary muscle car let alone one that has an original
drivetrain. Well, look no further as we have a sweet one here at

The 1983 model year marked the 15th anniversary of the Hurst/Olds.
It had a black and silver paint scheme accented by red and silver
pinstripes. Fifteen-inch chrome wheels wore raised white-letter
tires.
The hood featured a power bulge, and the rear deck lid had a
spoiler affixed. The engine was dressed with a chrome air cleaner
lid and true dual exhaust and only 3,001 15th Anniversary
Hurst/Olds were built.

The Hurst's correct 307 cubic inch V8 engine resides in the stock
looking engine compartment. It still has a a 4-barrel carburetor on
top of the stock intake with factory components like the valve
covers, ram air black painted air cleaner assembly with the chrome
lid, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, cast iron
exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust, and was backed by a Turbo
Hydramatic 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission with Hurst's
signature three-stick Lightning Rods shifter.
It is equipped with the Oldsmobile factory type chrome styled mag
wheels and raised white letter tires.
Interior
Inside the Hurst/Olds is finished in the rare Dark Maple maroon
crushed velour cloth and in great shape and features maroon front
high-back bucket seats and matching rear seat with matching door
panels, carpet, factory dash with all the original gauges and
controls, factory pushbutton radio still remains, air conditioning,
and the most unique feature, the chrome Hurst Lightning Rod
shifters that really catch the eye with everything looking like the
time capsule that it really is.
The trunk looks equally original with the carpeted area and has the
original Hurst/Olds T-Top vinyl storage bags.
Exterior
It wears the iconic black with the silver bottom and red
pinstripes, Hurst/Olds callouts, and really stands out with the
Hurst hood, rear spoiler, painted front and rear bumpers, and the
half/top painted in black, all to let you know, that this isn't
your grandfather's Oldsmobile.
This is a muscle car, a real 1983 Hurst Olds 15th Anniversary, with
badging on the exterior and interior to proclaim it is the 15th
Anniversary Edition.
