console that now sports an upgraded Hurst shifter and matches their
condition. The comfort and convenience features that come in handy
for everyday driving are on board here, including AC that's blowing
cold and strong, cruise control, power windows, door locks and
mirrors and more. Should you ever want a break from simply taking
in this car's entrancing exhaust note - unlikely as that may seem -
there's an AM/FM/CD stereo with an auxiliary port standing by to
tend to your audio needs.
This GT's already potent fuel-injected 4.6-liter V8 pairs with a
Paxton Novi supercharger to equip it with outstanding power. The
supercharger was installed very cleanly and everything under the
hood is in good order. Not every transmission would be up to the
task of handling the power this enhanced engine generates, but
luckily the 6-speed manual Tremec 3650 is beefy enough to stand up
to it. The factory suspension combines with a Detroit Locker
Trutrac differential and aftermarket traction bars to properly
direct the engine's force to the asphalt, and with a rock-solid
clutch in place, this Mustang really drives great, with
reassuringly precise shifts to go with its g-force inducing
acceleration. 17" Race Star wheels, - with ultra-narrow 4.5s in
front and 9.5s in back that wear beefy 305 tires for maximum
gripping power - not only complete the look of this exceptional
Pony Car, but also equip it for maximum performance on the
asphalt.
