Beautiful throughout, just restored all as original and in excellent condition. Excellent electric canvas top, and Maroon body. The chrome and trim are bright and in excellent condition. The interior is the plaid Highlander with maroon leather. All upholstery is in excellent condition. The art deco-inspired dash is painted Regal Maroon and all trim and gauges are in excellent working condition. Steering wheel is also maroon and beautiful re-chromed parts.
Engine is the straight 8 "Spitfire" and smooth running 323.5 ci L-head engine with 135 horsepower. The engine bay is exceptionally well-detailed with period-correct hardware accessories. The paintwork on the engine block and ancillaries is excellent. Recent tune up and new engine gaskets. New tie rod ends, engine mounts, replaced u-joints, radiator flush, new tires with front end alignment. The hydraulically operated Fluid Drive transmission has been recently completely restored and operates flawlessly.

Last year for the highlander interior option with the desired 1948 body style. An attractive automobile with pleasing proportions and Chrysler’s unique “harmonica” grille, with the open convertible being particularly striking. It was among the most luxurious models in the Chrysler lineup.
