In 1966 Chevrolet introduced the 427 cubic inch motor with
Corvette's, and this one comes with the 390 horsepower rating.
These cars were equipped with a special bubble hood, first seen in
the 1965 models with 396 cubic inch motors. And this beauty comes
with the manual 4-speed transmission by Munice. To add to its
performance and maintenance, the last owner just put a new clutch,
flywheel and throw out bearing in it, along with a refresh of the
427 engine less than 1,000 miles ago.
And to make it even a better driver, this owner also added Power
Steering, Power Brakes, to go along with the original owners add
ons of Knock Offs and Sidepipes. This powerful Classic has had love
over the years, and that is what makes it so desirable in today's
