The Corvette C6 was produced from 2005 through 2013. In our opinion, the C6 is the sweet spot of the current used Corvette Market. For the 2005 model year Chevrolet finally updated the quality of the interior of the Corvette to be competitive in the high-end sports car market! 2008 was the first year that the LS3 engine was installed. Standard horsepower was increased from the 400 hp in the LS2 to 430 hp.

This Corvette was originally purchased from Bill Heard Chevrolet in Kennesaw, Georgia in March 2008. It remained with its original owner in Georgia for 8 years and approximately 30,000 miles. The second owner registered it in Florida in August 2016. In the subsequent 7 years that he owned it, he only added an additional 10,000 miles! Because of his advanced age, the second owner could no longer drive it, so he sold it (or traded it in) to Toyota of Vero Beach. 3rd Coast Motors acquired the Corvette from Toyota of Vero Beach via wholesale auction.

Rather than have the car shipped from Vero Beach, Florida to Norton Shores, Michigan, we decided to take it on a 1,300-mile test drive! So, we can say unequivocally that everything in the car works perfectly.

After driving 1,300 miles with just a basic radio and a cellphone, we decided that a vehicle of this caliber really required a modern Digital Receiver with Apple Car Play. Upon returning to Michigan, we had Tech Audio in Grand Haven, Michigan install an Alpine ILX-570 Digital Receiver with wireless (and wired) Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can see in the pictures that Tech Audio also installed an Alpine Wireless Volume Control behind the little door where the ash tray and lighter were originally installed. (We will, of course, provide the original radio with the car.)

The car was extremely well maintained by both prior owners. The body, convertible top and interior are in pristine original condition. The chrome wheels look brand new. Based on our 1,300-mile test drive, and our mechanic's inspection, there are no known mechanical issues.

Add in the $1,000 that was spent installing the Alpine Digital Receiver, and our $37,000 asking price is a really good deal. With proper TLC this C6 Corvette will only continue to appreciate, especially because you can no longer buy a new Corvette with a manual transmission.
