Engine & Drivetrain
Behind that grille is what we believe to be the original top-shelf
six-cylinder engine, the Turbo-Thrift. This engine carried 230
cubic-inches, and 155 horsepower. It has been rebuilt and looks as
original as the day it left the plant with the engine block, head,
and Chevrolet script valve covers painted in orange, black factory
air cleaner assembly, performance spark plug wires, new Sniper Fuel
Injection system, factory stock intake and exhaust manifolds, power
steering, and power brakes.
It looks great in a clean, painted, and detailed blacked out engine
compartment and the engine is mated to a stout GM 2-speed automatic
transmission.
Interior
The interior is the right mix of restored and vintage pieces and
comfort with its black vinyl upholstery on the split full bench
seat with the factory black dash with factory gauges, automatic
shifter on the column, black factory sports steering wheel, black
carpeting, Chevrolet radio system and speakers, detailed and
painted trunk, seatbelts, and rear matching black seat and all
front and rear matching door panels round out the package.
Exterior
The bright yellow paint on this Nova looks great and draws a lot of
attention with great panels that line up so nice, great front and
rear chrome bumpers, trim, and window glass are super.
It rides on Chevrolet Rally wheels with the chrome trim rings and
caps on performance black sidewall tires that give it the right
stance and let everyone know that this Nova has had a complete
resurrection of all parts.
Conclusion
If you are looking for just the right combination of a vintage Nova
with all new parts and improvements, this 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II
Nova we have here at Adventure Classics is one of the best you will
find.
