(1979-1993), commonly referred to as the Fox Body, was the car that
brought performance back into fashion at Ford. Its predecessor, the
Mustang II (1974-1978), was a smaller and more efficient package
than previous 'Stangs and came along just in time for the energy
crisis of 1973/1974. Although the Mustang II sold well, by the end
of the '70's Ford fans and enthusiasts in general were ready for
more performance. By the time this cool 1992 Mustang LX Convertible
came down the line, Ford had delivered. Lift the hood and you'll
see the EFI 5.0L HO V8 (E) that quickly earned respect for its
reliability and power potential. Additional features include power
rack and pinion steering, power front disc brakes, power windows,
power driver's seat, power door locks, power top, air conditioning,
4-speed automatic transmission with O/D (T), 2.73 Traction-Lok rear
axle (M), White Leather Articulated Sport Seats (CL), cruise
control, Premium AM/FM/Cassette stereo (9), and fresh tires
(225/55R16) on factory alloy wheels. This jewel comes from the same
