History:
The vehicle was purchased from a collection in Granby Quebec, during prior ownership this Mini served more as a showpiece than a driven vehicle as it was stationary for several years before my ownership. When purchased it was nearly the same condition as it is present today, the vehicle holds its original interior, drivetrain and most of its original paint. The vehicle has been in my ownership for four years, it has been routinely serviced with OEM parts and has always been parked indoors.
Exterior:
The Mini is an Iconic and unmistakable design that is a timeless symbol in the automotive world. Its small dimensions, rounded body shape, and signature "face" with a classic grille and round headlights make it instantly recognizable. The exterior is in wonderful condition, paint quality is good with minor blemishes, the chrome is in near new condition and most importantly the vehicle does not show signs of rust. The biggest criticism to give to the exterior is a dent found of the driver-side fender which occurred during previous ownership.
Interior:
Despite its small exterior, the interior of the Mini is surprisingly spacious and well-designed. The car can comfortably seat four passengers, although the rear seats may be a bit cramped for taller individuals. The cabin features a straightforward dashboard layout with simple controls and a centrally-mounted speedometer. The interior is in excellent condition, all materials are in excellent shape with no tears, rips and rubbing with all gauges and radio working properly.
Performance:
Under the hood the Mini is equipped with a front-engine, front-wheel-drive standard power-plant 998cc four-cylinder petrol engine, producing around 40-50 horsepower. Its small size and low weight contribute to excellent maneuverability and handling, making it perfect for navigating through city streets and narrow roads. . While not particularly powerful, the Mini's lightweight and responsive nature more than compensate for its modest output.
The largest obstacle was to refresh the vehicle mechanically as it has been stationary for several years. As of now, I have performed the following:
