1933 Ford Coupe Super Street Rod (SSR)
“Afterburner” is a one-of-a-kind Super Street Rod (SSR) based on the styling of a 1933 Ford with many one-of-a-kind custom details. This street rod was given high performance handling and performance along with all of the modern conveniences. Attention to detail during this build is second to none. A high-performance Factory Five Racing Frame was the starting point to give this one of kind custom great handling. Powered by a LS-3 E-Rod 6.2 L motor (approx. 450 H.P.) along with 4L65E electronic transmission with Lokar shifter and Ford 8.8 rear end with Torsen Limited slip differential. For the suspension, a transverse inboard for the front and 4-link for the rear along with QA1 adjustable coil overs front and back. For the brakes, you have Wilwood calipers front and rear with crossed drilled and slotted rotors, Classic Performance products chrome master cylinder and booster with SSBC proportioning valve. For the steering you have Unisteer rack and pinion with Electra Steer power steering. Engine upgrades include GM engine control system, Holley oil pan and fuel injection rails, Concept One Chevy LS Victory Series Billet Aluminium Pulley System, Custom shorty headers, custom built Magnaflow exhaust system, Arco Aluminium radiator, Ron Francis wiring harness and battery cables. For the Fibreglass Body, we have many custom features… custom Tangerine Red House of Kolor paint, custom Fibreglass top, rear facing hood scoops ,custom front and rear fenders, running boards, side door window frames, custom front and rear chrome bumpers, custom rear LED lighting bar for brakes and turn signals, custom rear view mirrors with LED turn signals, LED daytime running lights, Specialty power windshield wiper system. For the Interior you will find Leather covered dash panel with Boese Engineering Billet Instrument Panel, Autometer gauges and Dakota Digital clock, custom leather centre console with fold down cup holders and two storage areas, Wise Guys leather seats, Billet Specialties Stiletto steering wheel, Alpine 7 inch audio visual and navigation system with backup camera, 4 Alpine Speakers and subwoofer, Classic Auto Air street Rod Cooler III Climate control system, Ididit steering column and street performance cruise, power windows and locks, Dynamat soundproofing used throughout.
