1969 Mustang Mach 1: from Pony to Muscle Car
This restored 1969 Mustang Mach 1 has it all:
Great Looking
This Mach 1 Fastback takes you back to the Ford showrooms of the late-60’s:
Paint and Chrome
With a high quality respray in its original Indian Fire red paint and black-out hood, this Mach 1 looks almost as new. The chrome is every bit as nice, as is the stainless trim.
The back window has the trademark covering of black window louvers to enhance the car’s “go fast” look.
Interior
The Black Knit Vinyl Mach 1 High Back seats with a red accent insert are in excellent condition as is the rear seat.
Engine
The engine is a rebuilt 1970 351 Windsor V-8 with a 4 bbl that starts right up and delivers a herd of ponies when you put your foot into it.
Transmission
The 5-speed Tremec T-5 manual transmission shifts smoothly adding to the fun of owning a true muscle car while providing an “over-drive” 5th gear to assist with fuel economy.
Chassis and Exhaust
The underside of this Fastback is free of any visible structural rust or corrosion. The car sports a true dual exhaust with an H-pipe arrangement.
Safety and Comfort features
The car has power front disc brakes to bring this car to a quick and straight stop. Power steering makes driving effortless.
This Mach 1 also has the Rim-Blow steering wheel.
The BF Goodrich T/A tires have most of their tread left and look great mounted on the 15” polished Magnum 500 wheels.
A Very Nice Example of THE American Pony-Muscle Car!
Nothing personifies the ‘60s more than the Mustang and of those Mustangs, the Mach 1 Fastback has become the preferred body-style. Finished in stunning Indian Fire Red, our 1969 Mach 1 looks like it can’t wait to get out on the road to show why these cars evolved from pony to muscle car. Nimble, quick and beautiful, this Fastback will get smiles and waves wherever it goes, whether to a show, a cruise-in or a trip to get ice cream. Come take a look and it will be in your garage before you can say: Mach 1.
