Vehicle Description
It's hard to be an enthusiast and not love the lineage of the
Porsche 911. And within that storied history car like the 1973 RSR
is held in quite high regard. Of course, if you don't have a few
spare million dollars laying around, your RSR dreams are a bit out
of reach... or maybe not. This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 has
been upgraded inside and out to have the look of the RSR IROC car.
So you'll love the sporty front splitter with Hella driving lights,
functional RS-style ducktail spoiler, golden Fuchs-style wheels,
and classic Recaro-style racing seats. But it's the motor that
makes this fully awesome. The 3.2-liter flair-six may be larger
than anything from the RSR era, but it channels that legacy with
features like the PMO triple-throat carb setup and twin-plug
conversion. Oh yes, they took some real time delivering a great
RSR-style 911, and so you should really go over the full package to
see how this can give you that same awesome racer feeling without
having to come anywhere near the multi-million dollar entrance
fee.

The power, sound, and suspension all have the right feel for a more
track-focused and fun 911 So there it certainly gets the RSR spirit
right. But we also like how this car takes full advantage of the
evolutionary style of the 911. So this 1988 model can be properly
converted to look like a first-gen RSR, but it takes advantage of
the later 3.2 Carrera's engine and G50 transmission. And if you're
a true driver, you know this is important. And while this is meant
to look like a hardcore race, we can also appreciate the little
things that make it more fun to just drive around on the weekend -
like the power windows and a sunroof. So you have an authentic
taste of the RSR feeling but with an evolved base and a price tag
that doesn't rival a beach house. If that seems like a winning
formula to you, too, then you need to hurry on this Porsche. Call
