a six-year nut-and-bolt rotisserie number matching restoration
verified by Chris White and completed in 2023 during which no
expense was spared. The correct coat of Forest Green paint has been
applied and dressed in White Super Sport Stripes. Triple green is
the full color palate with green exterior, interior and vinyl
roof.
Under the Cowl Induction hood resides the legendary, and this car's
original 454 Chevrolet big block V8. The LS5, with a 10.25:1
compression ratio, hydraulic camshaft and Quadrajet carburetor,
rated at 360 HP and a whopping 500 lb-ft of torque. This was "the
engine that gives the SS454 its name. And its go," read a Chevrolet
sales brochure. A M22 "Rock Crusher" 4 - speed transmission and a
heavy duty 12-bolt 3.31 posi-traction rearend put the monstrous
torque to the ground. This SS454 is the definition of a muscle
car!
Power steering and power brakes, disc in front with drums in rear,
help with the handling performance of this Detroit designed brute
muscle along with all new correct suspension.
The exterior look is finished off with correct SS Super Sport
wheels wrapped in the correct Goodyear F70-14 Polyglas white letter
