The 20th anniversary T/A was a natural for Pace Car duties. Its
3,8L turbocharge V-6 was a killer, pumping out 300+HP at 4400 rpm
and 340 lb-ft of torque at 2800 rpm. Engineers started with the
already hot Buick Grand National engine and made a few important
improvements. With a 0-to-60 in under 5.5 seconds this car was way
ahead of its time in 1989. Only 1,500 20th anniversary Trans Am
pace cars were produced for the 73rdIndianapolis 500 and this is
