The Volkswagen T3, almost like a time machine, brings this third generation of the iconic VW Transporter back to the '70s and '80s, when freedom and adventure were at their peak! The story of the Volkswagen T3 dates back to 1979 when it was introduced as the successor to the T2, also known as the "Bay Window" model. Unlike its predecessors, the T3 had a modern boxer design that made it more aerodynamic and spacious – yes, really! Perfect for taking you and your friends on wild road trips!
Over the years, the T3 underwent various updates and changes, both cosmetically and mechanically. The indestructible box on wheels, equipped with its large windows, was used to spot passengers desperately waving for a ride.
The air-cooled engines were swapped for water-cooled versions, making sweating while conquering steep mountain roads a thing of the past. Because, let's be honest, while the Netherlands might be flat, the T3 is ready to tackle any landscape! No hill too high, no curve too sharp – the T3 handles it all with ease!
This Dutch delight has proven its worth in homeland service! Originally delivered in the Netherlands to the Taxi Center that brought its passengers to their destination with a smile. Still in complete originality, German reliability is once again demonstrated. First owner, and now in our Clubhouse through a well-known car collector.
