tastefully and professionally modified pickup that possesses
outstanding power to go along with its head turning ability, this
2000 Chevrolet Silverado Procharged represents an unusual
opportunity. You don't often see trucks configured with such a
cohesive game plan - every modification on this Chevy blends well
with the others around it. Its combination of appealing looks and
top tier components haven't escaped notice - it has been featured
in Truckin Magazine and will pull into its next lucky owner's
garage with a commemorative copy on board.
Such a great looking truck! Its Onyx black exterior is in good
form, with no major issues to be found. Drop shackles and an added
C-notch combine to give this Chevy a lowered stance - around 4"
below stock. It's also worth mentioning that the C-notch performed
here was done properly, as this is a surgery that sometimes gets
botched when it's performed by someone without the necessary skill.
You'll find an impressive assortment of well-chosen aftermarket
add-ons here - the scooped fiberglass Ram Air hood, the aggressive
one-piece front bumper with its recessed fog lights and the
customized chrome Tahoe front grille are likely the first ones
you'll notice. Take a lap around the truck and you'll see that all
the panels fit together well, and as you venture to the back you
can't help noticing just how clean the bed area is beneath the
tonneau cover.
This truck's gray interior shows some inspired custom touches of
its own. A pair of Recaro bucket seats with Simpson harnesses sit
in place of the originals and the clean center console now features
a B&M shifter. The gauge cluster that sits just beyond the
steering wheel began its life on an Escalade and it now holds an
assortment of aftermarket Phantom gauges that look great in their
new setting. This Chevy's outstanding power lends itself to
aggressive driving, so a half-roll cage was also installed for
rollover protection. There are plenty of factory comfort and
convenience features that were left intact, including power seats,
power locks and windows and a tilt column. The factory AM/FM/CD
stereo is still in good working order to offer your own personal
soundtrack while you're behind the wheel.
This Silverado's abundant power comes via a fuel-injected 6.0-liter
Vortech engine that has been equipped with an intercooled
Procharger supercharger, 52lb. injectors and a Volante cold air
intake. The power benefit of these add-ons isn't just a matter of
conjecture - this truck comes with a dyno sheet that can attest to
its abilities, showing 524 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque
during its testing. This is a very clean installation - the piping
used is all stainless steel and everything was really configured
nicely. The engine is fed by a fuel cell that has been relocated to
the bed area of the truck and it pairs with a 4L80E automatic
transmission that shifts smoothly, exhaling into a pair of headers
leading to a MagnaFlow exhaust that exits on the lower sides of the
bed. 4-wheel disc brakes, with drilled and slotted rotors in front
and back, provide excellent stopping power, bringing the set of 20"
Budnik billet wheels to a standstill in no time.
With its great combination of outstanding performance and
skillfully added aesthetic upgrades, trucks like this 2000
Chevrolet Silverado Procharged don't come along often, so don't
miss this opportunity. Call today!
