This Cobra Superformance MKIII is fitted with a 393ci stroker V8 by
Coast High Performance in Torrance, California. It is paired with a
Tremec five-speed manual transmission and bolted to a Ford 8.8"
ratio axle. Equipped with a Jim Inglese eight-stack Weber
carburetor system, a Borla intake, a Schneider Racing camshaft,
Comp Cams hydraulic lifters, Crane Energizer roller rocker arms,
and Edelbrock cylinder heads, Cobra-branded valve covers and
side-exit ceramic-coated side pipes by Firefly Performance
exhaust.
The fiberglass bodywork is fitted over a ladder-frame chassis and
finished in red with white center stripes, the car features a hood
scoop, quick-jack racing bumperettes, bright roll hoops,
Halibrand-style 15? wheels, are secured by safety-wired three-eared
knockoff spinners and mounted with 245/60 front and 295/50 rear
AVON Radial CR6ZZ tires. power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and
independent rear suspension with adjustable coil over shocks.
The interior is finished in black leather upholstery. DJ racing
harnesses bolt to low back bucket seat, the wood-rimmed steering
wheel fronts a mix of Smiths and Lucas instrumentation including a
reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and
auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 40k
miles.
The trunk has a battery mounted and equipped with cutoff switch. A
Sony CD head unit with Bluetooth and satellite radio connectivity
is housed in the trunk and linked to a PowerBass Xtreme amplifier
and speakers between the seat backs. A soft top with side windows
is included. Manuals and literature included. The car has many

The state of California BAR sticker is shown above and describes
the car as a "2002 SPCN Cobra Kit." The California assigned
identification number CA965437 matches vin on the current PA title.
