rearend. Notice the One in the 513 on the side - the restorer left
the Number 1 to preserve the natural patina from 1971 as a tribute
to the car's test of time. Enjoy chrome accents and gorgeous wheels
that add the perfect amount of polish, two-stage Wilwood brakes,
reinforced leaf springs, and even a fresh gas tank and straps! The
'70s brought in a bigger pony car with more sheet metal, a longer
hood, a shorter deck, prominent crystal headlamps, the galloping
horse emblem, painted bumpers, and an aggressive black chin spoiler
matched to a painted decklid spoiler for that 1970s aero flair.
Under the long hood, the naturally aspirated 460 Ford V8 massaged
to 513 CID V8 with 4bbl carb is a showpiece with splashes of
chrome, MSD ignition, updated Air Conditioning with a dual
serpentine belt set up, March pulleys, electric fan, coated
full-length headers with electric cutouts, H-Pipe, and rectangle
exhaust tips ready to rumble. Everything we see shows that this
Mach has been walked through in detail. All suspension, braking,
ring/pinion, body seams, body paint, stripe paint, the clearcoat,
and detailing show an incredible testament to the quality and
craftsmanship of this restoration.
