Super fun and easy to drive, this is an excellent quality, professionally hand built replica that Ford sold new in 1980 with a warranty…Pretty cool!
The beauty of these Shay built Model A’s and ’55 Thunderbirds is they are very reliable, not to mention, good fuel economy. The Shay Company utilized the Mustang II/Bronco II engine and drive-train.
This particular Model “Shay” has been fitted with some even nicer upgrades, such as and newer electronic ignition and wiring system, new carburetor, new gauges, Flowmaster exhaust, wheels and tires, etc.
These upgrades not only allow for a nicer driving experience, but along with the custom pin-striping, this little Model A replica gives a nod to the Hot-rod style that the early Fords are famous for.
I’m telling ya, if you want an early Ford that’s easy to drive, that’s reliable, and you can take it anywhere, this little Roadster is a very fine example of the best of all worlds.
