1933 Ford Speed Star Coupe
$75,700
Perhaps, I am biased, but I have never seen a car more beautiful than this one. Since 2010, this car has been part of my family. It was my father’s pet project and passion for 12 years. To the best of my knowledge, this car is flawless. Some of the best fabricators, builders, and painters in the Street Rod community have laid their hands on this project.
The Rat’s Glass body is set upon a chassis that was fabricated by Bobby Alloway’s Rod Shop in Louisville, KY. The remainder of the build was completed by Dave Billmyer in North Highland, CA. Blue Fire graphics were painted over the Lexus Blue Metallic base by Kurt Grimes of Clovis, CA. DuPont recognized this classic paint job by including the car in the 2007 DuPont Hot Hues Calendar for the Month of June.
Over the course of 10 years, this car was shown primarily in southern and central Ohio. This car has won numerous trophies for Best in Show and/or Best in Class. Truly, this car does not struggle to capture the attention and imaginations of Street Rod enthusiasts.
