You're one ride away from a good mood - Bentley.
Bentley and Rolls-Royce have been in bed together for a very long time. You would think that they were biting each other, but nothing could be further from the truth... The Rolls was intended for the English landlord who was to be driven to and from his hunting cottage as quietly and comfortably as possible without messing up the scone. Bentley was for the English landlord who wanted to drive himself. The 6.75 litre engine was fitted with larger twin SU carburettors and the suspension was slightly tauter. We don't understand why the Bentley T1 was completely overshadowed by RR's coach-sharing sister. In the end, there were only 568 British aristocrats who chose the sporty(er) version. For the collector, so much more desirable nowadays! Do you still get it?
Well, we already have a few club members, almost all of whom fortunately have the necessary dose of humour. For instance, this previous owner decided to restore his T1 as it was probably really meant to be. The end result? A roll cage, a sway bar, four point seatbelts, headlights and racing numbers! And the racing number? Just the year of construction of the car, darling!
From now on it can be viewed at our clubhouse. Driver James likes it and is already waiting for you in the back. Will we see you soon?
