This Camaro was owned by my father’s friend since 1979. He purchased it with its original paint and approximately 70k on the clock. He drove it as a fair-weather car in Oregon. At some point he had it painted a dark Corvette blue but regretted the choice for originality’s sake. So approximately 30 years ago he had it painted with base coat, clear coat to the original Glacier Blue color and added the vinyl top, but it was originally a painted top. He rebuilt the original engine and transmission at 100k and drove it randomly for another 33k. He believes it was bored .030 over and balanced with a G.M. 300 hp stock camshaft. I purchased the car in 2021 and commenced to a 2-year restoration on much of it with the exception of the exterior paint. Like many of the cars I build for my customers, I handpicked many parts to upgrade the car’s handling and performance.

Some of these upgrades include but are not limited to: “Ride Tech” Street Grip Suspension kit combined with their Sub-Frame Connectors with the Delrin Sub-Frame Mount Kit, Urethane Motor and Transmission mounts, “Borgenson” Quick Ratio Steering Box and hoses, “Wilwood” D52 front calipers, Vented and Slotted Front Rotors, S.S. braided brake lines, Aluminum Master Cylinder, “Sanderson” Short Headers, Custom 2.5” Aluminized Steel Exhaust System with removable H-Pipe and S.S. Exhaust Tips, De-Edelbrocked Aluminum Intake Manifold, “Edelbrock” AVS2 Carburetor, Aluminum Water Pump, “Pertronix” Stock looking Distributor, “Center Force” II clutch system, “Morris Concepts” 3 Point Front and Back Seat Belts, “Wheel Vintiques” 17” Steel Wheels, It has a “Vintage Auto Radio” that is a AM/FM Stereo Bluetooth Reproduction that looks original, “Retro-sound” Front Speaker, “Kicker” Rear 6x9’s with “G.M.” Paint Matched Steel Speaker Grates, “Power Master” Starter and Alternator, S.S. Fuel Tank, S.S. Fuel and Brake Lines, S.S. E-Brake Cable Kit.

Many of the parts have been Powder Coated, Cerakoted, Painted for a tidy finish. The inside of the quarters, rockers, cowl, doors, floors and fenders have been cleaned and treated with SEM’s products. The floors are wrapped in sound and heat mat from front to back.

The paint is approximately 30 years old and was only a top side job back in the day. It is not perfect and has its flaws. The front fenders had small areas that I repaired and repainted below the trim. The trunk had pinholes that were tig welded up and metal finished. The rockers, floors and doors have no repairs and are nice. The lower rear quarters have minimal paint blisters and have been treated from the inside. Whoever installed the top trimmed it on the edge of the S.S. trim and scored the paint, and in a few spots the paint has small blisters, but the inside of the body looks perfect.

The interior still uses the original front and rear seats, a new color matched dash, new kick panels, premium carpet, previously replaced front door panels. Rear panels are original.

It does come with the original jack and a Glacier Blue repainted stock spare 14" wheel / no tire.

I truly believe that this car has never been wrecked or even hot rodded. Many of my friends and customers love the fact that it that looks nicer than some other newer restorations. This sweet 1969 Camaro SS could a wonderful sporty-driver in anybody’s collection!

I do have all of the original parts that were removed from the build. They come with it for the same price or without it for the same price.

I could write a book and show hundreds of photos about this build, but I’ll save that as a conversation for serious buyers.

Thanks for looking!
