Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Chevrolet's Chevy II, particularly
in upper-level Nova trim, has been popular with automobile
enthusiasts from the moment it was introduced in 1962. Among its
many positive attributes were low costs of ownership and repair,
light weight, a long list of optional equipment, and ease of
service. And at the top of the Nova pecking order was the Super
Sport, a wolf in sheep's clothing if ever there was one. Many Nova
SS V8's were the feisty 283's, but the uncommon 327 cars were in a
different league, often able to surprise and embarrass more
expensive big block muscle cars. This gorgeous and correct Marina
Blue (F) 1966 Chevy Nova SS is the right car in the right color
with the right engine. As the Limey's say, right, right, right!
This sweet sleeper is still motorvated by its L30 327/275 hp V8 (EC
F0107ZK, BBD 01B) that was the most powerful engine offered with an
automatic transmission for 1966. Additional features include the
aforementioned Powerglide automatic transmission, correct blue
bucket seat trim (737), console, a Custom Autosound AM/FM/Cassette
stereo, and F70-14 tires on steel wheels with correct covers. This
sweetheart runs and drives very well, lending further credibility
to its originality. One fascinating feature still present is the
pair of torque cables running from the front of the engine to the
frame that resulted from the little-known 1972 recall #70C10. There
must have been some pretty strong 327 Nova SS's! One more killer
classic from the team that can make your dream a reality. Street
Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist
