What's better than a 69 RS Camaro with a big block? How about a
convertible! We got this car from a really good seller, he told me
the car needed nothing. We ran it through our shop for inspection
and he was not lying! It is beautifully restored and functions just
the same.
EXTERIOR: Clear a shelf for the trophies you're going to win for
outstanding body and paint. I inspected it and was very impressed
how straight it is and how well it fits. There are no signs of rust
or damage, cut is smooth even along the bottom. Repainted it's
original Glacier Blue metalic which is a beautiful color! It is
polished like glass, the clear coat looks wet. The white hockey
stick stick stripes really pop. It is decked out with spoilers, SS
hood and it's a Rally Sport. The hideaway lights work great. It's
rolling on 14 inch rally wheels. The white power top looks like
new, weather strips were replaced.
INTERIOR: The interior lives up to the exterior's high standards
It's a factory blue deluxe interior in excellent shape. This
includes the molded door panels, custom weave upholstery and wood
grain trim. It's very nice throughout. In front of me the dash
vents, knobs, gauges, heater control panel are all excellent. It
has a tilt column with the rosewood wheel. Optional clock and Am-Fm
radio both work. Open the glove box and you will find the pouch
with owner's manual and working light. It's exceptionally
clean!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood will not disappoint either! Not
only does it look new but that is a performance built 454 motor for
a power plant. It was just completely rebuilt, build specs are
included. It has a Comp cam, Speed Pro pistons, an aluminum intake
with an Edelbrock carb, HEI ignition and it has a set of long tube
headers. Every component looks new and properly installed. It
features power steering and brakes. All the metal surfaces are
painted neatly. I would call this show quality.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is clean and complete! Under the trunk lid
and the jamb are painted nicely, inside is solid metal with a neat
spatter finish. The weather strip and mat have been replaced. It
has a collapsible spare with the air bottle and complete jack
assembly. It also has a trunk light, there is a top boot and an
extra set as mats as well.
UNDERSIDE: The front end looks like it's just been rebuilt. It has
new springs, shocks, control arm bushings, ball joints, sway bar
bushings, shocks and steering components. New shocks in back. The
brakes have been redone, the lines were replaced, e-brake is hooked
up. It's a new dual exhaust system. Looking up at the motor it has
a extra capacity anodized oil pan and a high torque starter. It has
it's original VIN number matching Turbo 350 automatic, it's been
serviced. It appears it has solid original metal. Everything under
this car has been cleaned and painted so it looks very nice.
SERVICE: We inspected this car and it passed with flying
colors.
This is a very meticulously restored car. It looks amazing and
functions just as well. All you need to do is add gas and
enjoy!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
