This is the ultimate 1969 Chevelle that never was. This has a
legendary L78 375 hp motor which was never available with air
conditioning. Well this one not only has a/c but it's loaded with
other options too from power windows and tilt wheel to F-41
suspension and a 3.55 posi. It underwent a nut and bolt, body off
frame restoration. It looks amazing and functions like new,
everything works!
EXTERIOR: It didn't look this good back in 1969! The body is laser
beam straight, all the gaps are square and flush. There's no rust,
damage or bodywork showing whatsoever. Repainted it's original code
71 LeMans blue. It is laid out evenly has been polished to a glass
finish. The white SS stripe shooting down both sides is a great
touch. Every piece of exterior chrome and trim looks new. The
windshield and weatherstrips were replaced. The white convertible
power top is like new. The SS wheels and BFG tires look like new.
In my opinion the exterior is flawless.
INTERIOR: Wow, pearl white interior against the blue exterior is
just killer! It is brand new looking inside and full of nice
options. The entire dash area looks new including the gauges,
instrument bezel, vents heater control panel etc. It has optional
speed minder, clock, gauges with tachometer, power top switch and a
tilt column with a deluxe wheel. A retro stereo was installed in
the factory hole. The seats have new cushions, upholstery, trim and
headrests. In between the buckets is a new reproduction console
with a correct Muncie shifter. All new set of reproduction seat
belts. Did you notice it even has power windows and locks? If you
open the glove box the light comes on and there's the owners
manual.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This has a genuine L-78 396-375 hp motor, code
JD. It has correct rectangular port heads, L-78 equivalent cam,
racing hydraulic lifters, factory aluminum intake and correct
numbered Holley 780 carb that was professionally restored. It has
correct air cleaner, valve covers, brackets, pulleys etc. Even the
spark plug wires are date coded. It has power steering and a
cadmium plated power brake booster. The air conditioning system is
factory right down to the stickers and the raw fiberglass box.
Every single component looks new and properly installed. The
squirters are hooked up, under hood light works, it has hood
insulation. This is a detailed show quality motor compartment.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
just as slick as the exterior. The weather strip and well liner
were replaced. It has a working trunk light. There's a 5th SS wheel
and BF Goodrich tire that are new. It has a new reproduction jack
assembly as well.
UNDERSIDE: Wow! Underneath this car is detailed to concourse
condition. Body off frame restored and highly detailed to the
factory specifications. Powder coated frame. It has the F-41
suspension which includes sway bars front and back and boxed rear
control arms. All of the suspension and steering is new. The brake
system has been restored: new lines, hoses and e-brake assembly. It
is disc in front. All new fuel system. It also has the factory
optional chambered exhaust system with correct resonators and the
SS tips. Looking up at the motor it is spotless Chevy Orange, the
starter and fuel pump look new. It has a correct Muncie
transmission that is rebuilt. The drive shaft is rebuilt and in
back is a 12 bolt rear end with 3.55 posi gears. The floors, braces
and rockers are spotless metal painted semi gloss black. It even
has assembly line markings duplicated.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired the air conditioning and
replaced a headlamp.
This is not a thrown together Chevelle. I'm very impressed with the
workmanship and attention to detail. Not only does it look right
but it fits right and functions right. Everything works as it
should. Someone will get an amazing car!

a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
