This is a real GT and boy oh boy am I impressed! It's very obvious
it is a high quality build but thats not the half of it. The best
part is the 566 hp big block stuffed in this little Dart! It has a
built overdrive trans and Sure Grip rear to back it up too.
EXTERIOR: Mopar wasn't making them this good on the assembly line.
The fit and finish are amazing on this car. No rust or damage. It
fits right and is straight as an arrow. Painted a beautiful
Mercedes Desert Silver metalic. It is applied evenly and the clear
is polished like wet glass. All of the chrome and trim is
beautiful. The taillight panel and tail lights were replaced,
bumpers were rechromed The chrome grills in the hood, mirror,
handles, marker lights are new. The windshield, window seals and
weatherstrips were replaced. New Prostar aluminum wheels, 15x5 in
front, 15x7 in back. Mickey Thompson Street strip tires in back. A
set of painted rims with new poverty caps are included too.
INTERIOR: It's very tidy inside the car too. The seats are
reupholstered, the buckets have been recushioned. The door panels,
carpet, headliner were replaced. The dash area is very nice. It has
a white faced tachometer and gauge cluster. Reproduction Tuff Grip
steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: We have Dyno sheet showing this 440 makes 566
hp and 609 lbs of torque! Keith Black 10:1 pistons, Crane roller
rockers, Erson cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, dual feed
Holley carb, MSD ignition and a set of headers. The front of the
motor has billet pulleys with a serpentine belt, a billet bracket
and alternator. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator. The metal
is painted as slick as the car. Notice tidy and uncluttered the
engine compartment is. It's show quality.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick
as the car. Inside is clean dry metal with a nice spatter finish.
It has a reproduction mat and weather strip. The battery is
relocated to the trunk.
UNDERSIDE: The front end looks like it's been completely rebuilt,
suspension and steering. It has frame connectors tying the front to
the back to prevent body twist. In back is new shocks and Mopar
Performance leaf springs. The fuel system was replaced including
the tank. It has a great sounding dual exhaust with Dynomax
mufflers and the correct square tips. It has a disc brake
conversion in front with the stainless braided hoses, brake lines
and e-brake cables are replaced. The floors, frame rails and
rockers are rock solid metal. Looking up at the motor it's
spotless, it has a high torque starter. The 727 Torqueflite has
been performance built. It has a precision 11" torque converter,
finned aluminum pan and a Gear Vendors overdrive. U-joints were
recently replaced. New Sure Trac posi unit.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and all we had to do was recalibrate
the speedometer.
This car is killer! The quality is outstanding, the performance is
mind blowing. Just hearing it run will get you excited!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
