1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL finished in Burgundy paint. REAL DEAL
GALAXIE XL! According to the vin number this is a Los Angeles built
car. Originally a 390 V8 car, which is what it still has today.
Tri-power 390 V8 paired up with a 4-speed manual transmission.
Chrome and brightwork looks good overall. Black vinyl bucket seat
interior with center console. Paint has a nice shine to it front to
back. Equipped with power steering, power windows, power brakes,
front disc brakes, and A/C. A/C is running off a new unit running
r134a. Riding on aftermarket 5-spoke wheels. This underwent a full
nut-&-bolt restoration approximately 10 years ago (2013 as of
this writing). Seating surfaces are in great shape with the dash
and headliner following suit. Seat belts in the front and rear.
Tachometer on the steering column is not hooked up.
Retrosound-style stereo installed in the dash that we could not get
to power up. Wipers work!
