We at Reimel Motorcars are delighted to present this 1954
Volkswagen Beetle w/40k miles. Covered in Light Beige over Beige
and Red leatherette interior.
This very original Beetle is amazingly still wearing much of its
original paint and retains its original interior. At some point in
its life, the motor was swapped for a later Beetle motor, but the
proper date correct block does accompany the car. This Beetle has
recently gone through a thorough servicing to ensure it is ready to
be driven and enjoyed by its next owner.
While this was the last year for certain features such as the
semaphore turn indicators, single exhaust, straight bumpers without
hoops, Hella headlights, and fixed rear quarter windows, it was
also the first year for new features like the key-start switch, two
sun visors, flat wiper arms, and a 3-position headliner light. In
1955, the heart-shaped brake light was discontinued, and the small
rear window was no longer available in 1956. Making this a
one-year-only configuration.
