1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 138 VIN, 4 SPEED TRANS,12 BOLT REAR This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is great looking! It presents itself very well. Looking down both sides, the body is straight. It wears a factory color-Tuxedo Black, code A. The paint shows very well and is very glossy. The door jambs are very clean and glossy. The chrome and trim are bright and shiny including the door handles, emblems, taillights, front and rear bumpers. The windshield and windows are crystal clear, the weather stripping and window seals have all been replaced. It sits on a set of 15x7 Chevy Rally wheels with new trim rings and center caps with a new set of Copper Cobra raised letter radial tires, they really enhance the car! The interior looks unabused. The seat upholstery, door panels, armrests, carpet and headliner all look real good. All the interior lights work. The console and dash are in good shape. All the gauges and clock work as they should, lenses are crystal clear The heater controls slide with ease. The factory steering wheel is nice. It is radio delete. Nothing appears cut-up or altered. The engine compartment is clean and orderly with its completely rebuilt engine, casting number 14015445. It has a few performance upgrades: aluminum intake manifold with Holley 4-barrel dual feed carburetor with correct fuel line, HEI ignition for reliability, factory style valve covers and air cleaner and a 4-core Harrison radiator with factory shroud. Everything is nice and tidy. The undercarriage is all clean and solid metal (floors, frame, etc.). The bottom of the motor is clean. The M20 Muncie 4-speed transmission is clean. The front end components look to have been mostly replaced. It has a newer FlowMaster dual exhaust system that runs out the back of the car. It has a 12-bolt 3:73 posi rear end. The E-brake assembly is all hooked up and working. The trunk is nicely detailed with a spare tire, trunk mat and new weather stripping. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jambs are glossy. This is a sharp looking Chevelle SS with great looks. This Chevelle performs really well and is turn-key ready to enjoy!
