1959 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO C-983 The iconic 1959 Chevrolet is
presented here in the rare El Camino model, with an extensive
rebuild resulting in a combination of beauty, performance, comfort
and a lot of driving excitement. With only two owners since new,
with each maintaining the El Camino with care its entire life. No
damages, no rust or corrosion, all original body components, all
original trims and emblems. The body was completely lifted from the
frame, frame repainted in gloss ebony black, new body mounts
installed and body returned to the finished chassis. The El Camino
is now powered by a very strong running 350ci 4 bolt main engine,
coupled to a Turbo 350 transmission then to a Chevrolet 10 bolt
rear end. All the components, wiring, hoses and power accessories
are beautifully displayed, making a jewel like engine compartment.
Chrome everywhere! The body was prepared, bringing the surfaces to
perfection, the fitment and gaps precisely aligned in preparation
for the many coats of base and the stunning candy apple red
glistening finish. The extensive amount of chrome on the body, on
the suspension, under the hood, and into the interior is amazing.
This makes everyone stop and appreciate the El Camino's perfection
and beauty. The hot looking El Camino runs cool thanks to an
aluminum radiator with auxiliary electric cooling fan. The interior
is itself a stunning design and quality construction accomplished
by California Upholstery, resulting in a most comfortable ride. The
dash features a full array of modern gauges, incredible audio, air
conditioning and again, extensive chrome trims. The chrome tilt
adjustable steering column is topped with a leather wrapped
steering wheel. Comfortable power bucket seats flank a custom
center console with electric window controls and audio screen. A
powerful array of stereo speakers are screened in the kick panels
and center console extension. The dual exhaust exits just ahead of
the rear tires, providing a mellow, yet powerful sounds as you
drive. The BF Goodrich T/A radials are mounted on chrome spoke
wheels and center caps with 59 El Camino logo. This proven award
winner would be a prized addition to any hot rod enthusiasts garage
