Vehicle Description
In the looks department, the Ford Mustang is one of the most
attractive cars ever built. This 1966 Mustang GT takes those good
looks and cranks the performance up a notch, wrapping up the famous
Ford small-block V8 under the hood and combining it with the
timeless Mustang aesthetic. Powered by a more modern 302 C.I. V8
breathing through a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, this '66 Mustang GT
is by no means a slouch on the street. Torque is put to the
pavement through a Ford "C-4" 3-speed automatic transmission, which
allows for a smooth ride as it shifts seamlessly. The correct
"Antique Bronze" paint looks absolutely gorgeous laid out over this
Mustang's laser-straight bodylines, and it pairs excellently with
the white vinyl top and "MUSTANG" door panel stripes. The chrome
brightwork also looks great, glittering in the sun at every angle.
The floors, frame, trunk and jambs are all also in fantastic shape,
and they all present well! Opening the twin doors reveals a
beautifully-correct "Parchment & Palomino" interior, complete with
the "Deluxe" patterned vinyl bucket seats that feature running
horses front and center, unique to the '65 and '66 Mustangs. These
bucket seats are extremely comfy, and they're perfect for cruising!
Options on this striking GT include front disc brakes, factory
gauges, a heater + defroster, correct GT trim and fog-lights, a
working original AM pushbutton radio, a woodgrain steering wheel
and deluxe woodgrain interior trim, vent windows, dual chrome
mirrors, and a sweet-sounding GT dual exhaust system. The car rides
on 14" Mustang Magnum wheels over blackwall tires for a look that
gives the impression that this Mustang stepped right out of 1966!
This '66 GT runs and drives down the highway just wonderfully, and
those dual exhausts make it sound absolutely fantastic. You don't
see an authentic Mustang GT every day, so don't let this one pass
you by! We'd love to see it in your driveway.
