Description:
This 1949 Willys CJ-3A spent time in South America before it was
acquired by us in July, and it is powered by a 134ci inline-four
paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range
transfer case. The truck is finished in red with a black soft top
over black upholstery, and it is equipped with 16? steel wheels,
manually locking front hubs, a 12-volt electrical system, and a
Pioneer stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Interior:
The low-back front seats are trimmed in black upholstery and
equipped with three-point seatbelts. Speakers beneath the rear
bench are linked with a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer stereo, which is
mounted above the driver's seat. The three-spoke steering wheel
fronts a body-colored dashboard panel with a 60-mph speedometer
surrounded by gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and
coolant temperature.
Exterior:
The truck was refinished in red with black accents during previous
ownership, and its black soft top has removable side panels and a
roll-up rear window. Soft doors, a fold-down windshield, a driver's
side mirror, and side steps are additional elements. Close-up
photos of the body panels and trim are shown in the gallery.
Drivetrain:
Equipped with a Weber W-O carburetor and a 12-volt electrical
system with an alternator, the 134ci "Go-Devil" inline-four sends
power to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual
transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Steel 16? wheels are
wrapped in 6.00-series bias-ply tires, and a matching spare is
mounted on the right-rear quarter panel. Gabriel shock absorbers
are fitted, and stopping power is provided by unassisted four-wheel
drum brakes.
