Vehicle Description
This 1964 Pontiac Parisienne convertible has to be one of the
coolest ways to get attention at car shows. After all, we all love
the look of a harmonizing color combo on a big cruising drop-top,
and this one has the V8 power, upgraded suspension, and overdrive
transmission to be an excellent cruiser. But you're likely going to
find this one just as distinct for its history as you are for its
cruiser style. Glancing at the cowl tag, you'll note that this car
is a Canadian-market Pontiac. These were built on a Chevrolet
chassis with Chevrolet engines. And while this fits on a Chevy
wheelbase, they did a terrific job of making it look like a
Catalina. You see it in the stacked headlights that are cradled by
the bright chrome bumper, and the contoured tail lights that were
part of the stylish Wide Track look. Inside, the wraparound chrome
dash panel and detailed two-tone turquoise upholstery also have the
right premium Pontiac style. So what does this all really mean?
This is a great classic drop-top that's going to get you plenty of
admiring stares at the stoplights, and if you also like to show
your classic, this gives you one of the most interesting tales of
rarity around.

We've already established how distinct a Canadian market Pontiac
Parisienne is, and you know how rare it is to find a Canadian
convertible. But what's also worth understanding are all the
investments that make this rare classic an even better cruiser. The
motor keeps the tradition of Canadian Pontiac with Chevy power, but
this utilizes a larger 350 cubic-inch V8. There's even an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Hooker headers to add
power. The suspension includes additions like drilled & slotted
front disc brakes, a rear sway bar, and a full Hotchkis tubular
A-arm front end. And because this is a strong runner and a better
handler, they upgraded it to an overdrive transmission to be great
for trips near and far. So you have the kind of classic convertible
that's great for cruising and has a story to tell everywhere where
it arrives. That's an impressive total package, and it can all be
yours if you're quick enough to grab this seal. Call today!!!
