1963 Avanti R1. Stock 289 V-8 Automatic. Drives, looks and runs well. All correct OEM equipment and parts. Previous complete restoration by Gary Johnston at Avanti NW Olympia Washington approximately twenty years ago. Always garaged and covered. Driven very little after rebuild of engine, trans, drivetrain, brakes, body and paint. All gauges are correct. Fan, heater, radio, wipers, turn signals, dash lights, exterior lights, fuel gauge, amp, RPM, Speedo, Vacuum, oil pressure, all work.
Deficiencies: Horn not operating. The windows are electric and do operate, however they are sluggish to open and need attention. The left front hood hinge has a crack on the fiberglass mount not allowing the hood to sit correctly and will need fiberglass repair (shown in photo). Transmission has an occasional drip after being parked for some time. A few very small nicks in paint (shown in photos).
