classic and muscle car business. Datsun (now Nissan) forever
changed the perception of what a sports car should be when they
released their amazing 240Z in 1970. Universally acclaimed for its
styling, performance, reliability, and value, the Z was an enormous
success that demanded the attention of every sports car
manufacturer. British and Italian manufacturers were rightfully
fearful of a competitor that did not lose its wiring harness in the
rain or burst into flames randomly! This stunning silver 1970
Datsun 240Z has been mildly modified for the occasional autocross
with some truly tasteful upgrades. Lift the cool reverse tilt hood
and you'll find a larger 2.8L I6 from a later year that's been
fortified with twin carburetors, a beautiful header, and an
aluminum radiator. Additional features include a fully independent
suspension, rack and pinion steering, power front disc brakes, air
conditioning, power sunroof, a (later) 5-speed manual transmission,
front and rear stabilizer bars, front and rear strut tower braces,
brake cooling ducts, roll bar with harness anchor, front and rear
spoilers, JDM-type fender mirrors, a powerful audio system, and
aggressive tires (225/50ZR16) wrapped around 16 Panasport Racing
alloy wheels. The combination of the car's original styling with
