Vehicle Description
The MX-5 is now in its fourth generation with the first of the
Models debuting in 1989 and continuing until 1997. The second
generation cars known as the MX-5 NB was built from 1998 through
2005. While it kept the same proportions as the first gen cars, its
most noticeable change was the removal of the retractable
headlamps. It also featured a refined interior, increased
Horsepower and the option of the six-speed manual transmission. The
1.8 Liter puts out a pretty impressive 0-60 time as well as a fun
overall roadster to drive. This particular car appears to have been
re-sprayed, probably due to living most of its life in the sunny
south as the carfax is clean and the underside does not show that
it has been in an accident. The Air Conditioning is ice cold, all
the lights and gauges work and the interior is very clean. The car
has wonderful low miles, has good tires and brakes and is overall a
really nice little car, especially for the money. It runs, drives
and stops great and is literally ready to be enjoyed.
