Corvette’s Z06 designation was an order code for an option package in 1963. Zora Arkus-Duntov came up with the idea to get around an agreement that forbid manufacturers to make race cars. The Z06 order code disappeared in 1964 and returned in 2001 for the C5. It has since been offered in each generation and has remained true to its roots in that it represents a track ready, race-oriented Corvette model. The C7 was offered from 2014 through 2019 and was the first Corvette to bear the Stingray name since 1976. The C7 Z06 was first introduced as a 2015 and boasts a 6.2L Supercharged LT4 that produces 650hp and is capable of 185mph. This particular example is equipped with the 3LZ package which includes a long list of upgrades and makes this the top of the line model available. Other manufacturer options include the chrome Z06 wheels, 8-speed paddle shift auto transmission, a remote starter and sweet custom red stitching throughout the interior. This particular example is a 1 owner car with 1,354 original miles. The gorgeous Jet Black paint was professionally paint corrected and ceramic sealed to protect the finish. The interior still has the new car smell and the protective film on the stereo display has never been removed. The car is exhilarating to drive and the performance exhaust will make the hair stand up on your neck. If you have been looking for a clean C7 Z06 you have found the Holy Grail as there isn’t a cleaner one on the market. We have priced this one fairly so if you like what you see don’t balk as it will be too late!
