Originally delivered in Pastel Lime, this 1974 Ford Bronco Ranger was repainted in Medium Green Glow over Avacado upholstery when it was restored prior to the current owner's acquisition. Any rust was removed and vinyl red pinstripes and Wimbledon White accents were applied at this time. Equipment includes a white removable hardtop, chrome-finished bumpers, a fold-down windshield with replacement glass, a remote control driver-side mirror, a rear-mounted spare tire with vinyl cover, a trailer hitch and a replacement exhaust system with a single outlet.
The 302 ci V8 was removed at 53,000 miles & cleaned with all serviceable parts replaced...water pump, fuel pump, starter motor, alternator, spark plugs, filters, etc. The carburetor was also professionally rebuilt and the cooling system was upgraded w/an aluminum radiator and twin cooling fans. The three-speed auto box shifts as it should, and features a dual-range transfer case and limited-slip 3.50:1 rear differential.
15-inch steel wheels are finished in Wimbledon White and fitted with polished covers and Cooper Trendsetter SE whitewall tires. A new power front disc brake kit was just installed including a brake booster along with new rear drums & shoes. The steering box was rebuilt and a new drag link & front bushing kit installed. The shocks & Warn manually-locking front hubs were replaced under previous ownership. Auxiliary fuel tank and skid plates have been fitted and the frame has been sandblasted, degreased, and coated with underbody sealant.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Avocado vinyl with houndstooth cloth inserts. The interior is completely factory original including the carpet and headliner. The center seat is not original but sourced from an early 70s Ford pickup with optional bucket seats. Air conditioning, a middle front seat and sound deadening were installed by the previous owner. A new Bluetooth radio was installed by the current owner with new speakers fitted. The two-spoke steering wheel features a horn ring and frames a 100-mph speedometer with integrated gauges for the alternator, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, 700 of which were added by the consignor. Mileage is believed to be original but cannot be documented.
