Vehicle Description
This 1965 Chevrolet C10 has a cool/classic style inside and out.
But you can also tell from its stance that it likes to be a
cruiser. And with the upgraded suspension, wheels, and V8 power, it
delivers on its first impression.
There's just something extraordinary about this generation of C10.
Chevy designed these with a large style line that hugs the hood and
then wraps around it as it runs the entire length of the profile.
You can see it nicely here as glossy mint green paint adds
definition to the bends. It's the kind of color you'd expect from
the 1960s, but it's a fresh application for added radiance. And
that sets the right tone for the whole truck. You will see vintage
pieces and well-placed upgrades to make for a vintage pickup that's
also a custom cruiser. So there's the right impression for a fun
classic. That means it doesn't want you to be nervous about taking
it out for a drive, and when you do, there are plenty of details to
show off. Good fundamentals include a clean windshield, newer
seals, and a bright front end with a shining chrome bumper and
grille. And there are nice updates like the blue-dot tail lights
and fresher natural wood in the truck bed. We especially like the
look of the white wheels. Not only do they go well with the white
inserts on the full-length side trim, but they are also a large
17-inch size that looks great with the lowered stance.
The interior follows a similar theme: a very period-correct
appearance with well-placed upgrades. The smooth dash and simple
door panels give you the right vintage truck straightforwardness.
Even the Delco AM radio is still on display. But you also get an
inviting freshness in two-tone white and beige vinyl bench seats
and newer carpeting. And when you have a classic pickup, there's
always a nice feeling of slipping behind a well-worn factory
steering wheel to get in touch with the generations that came
before you.
Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch crate motor. And while this is a
newer V8, it's presented in a clean and stock style. These are
always great for power upgrades, and you already have a four-barrel
carburetor and a dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Plus, its
strong-running nature makes it a cruiser from day one. The overall
package is quite impressive. You have true truck features like a
12-bolt rear end and a stout but smooth TH400 three-speed automatic
transmission. It's joined by more modern upgrades like a CPP
tubular control arm front end, lowering springs, CPP rear shocks,
power brakes with front discs, and Toyo Extensa performance
tires.
This is a great vintage C10 that's made to be enjoyed in modern
times. It makes for a unique pickup that's plenty of fun. Call
