For Sale: 1969 GMC 3/4 Ton Pickup in West Richland, Washington

Vehicle Description

1969 GMC C2500 Fleet side Pickup. This classic pickup contains a 396 big block engine, with new hoses, accessories, belts, carburetor, and 3-inch straight pipes out the side. It has a deep melodious tone without droning, and a nice bark when under acceleration. Engine is complemented via a four-speed automatic transmission, along with a rebuilt drive shaft.  Power steering, power brakes, and cruise control were added for extra comfort and convenience. A full towing hitch and lighting were added to provide access for boats, trailers, or camping needs.

This GMC has brand new wheels, tires, brakes, front and rear bumpers, hood, tailgate, windshield, rear slider window and glass, window frames, running lights, headlight chrome work, etc. Full exterior repaint was completed in a Dodge/Jeep color (Hawaiian Blue Pearl, paint code “PBJ”). An entire new metal bed and fender covers were installed and Rhino lined. Side and rear windows are tinted for UV protection and cooling of the cabin.

Interior was professionally refurbished via the well-known Shelby Super Cars (Tuatara sports cars). This included rust proofing on the rocker panels. Further interior work included full new rubber mat in cabin, along with Seat Covers Unlimited seat cover overlying the new bench seat upholstery. Upholstery upgrades also include both door panels and a padded dash. New (interior) gas tank and fuel filler inlet/gas cap were installed. Other interior upgrades consisted of new dash instrumentation, steering wheel/cover, steering column w/tilt, gear shift lever, HVAC instrumentation, ducting, door and window handles, and a new glovebox compartment. The original owner’s manual is present, as is the original option list on the glovebox interior panel. NOTE: This truck is equipped to accept AC, but is not currently plumbed for that application. A Kenwood head unit, amplifier and speakers were added, including a CD player/Bluetooth connection.

A custom console was designed and fabricated out of wood, and painted a dark blue. This is included with the truck but is not “professionally” produced. It is quite functional, does not slip or slide, and provides a great holding spot for drinks, phones, wallets/purses, etc.

We have owned this vehicle for over 6 years. It was originally purchased at a modest price to fulfill landscaping and rock hauling duties. It has graduated to another functional level and is now ready to enter car shows, cruise to the local ice cream shop, or yes, pull your toys to the lake. I have service records upon request. Please contact me for further information or questions about this classic pickup truck. Further pictures are available upon request as well.
