Up for sale is a really special German 1964 Split Window Volkswagen Bus De Luxe "SAMBA" microbus. Real factory 21 window VW Bus walk-thru, model Type 251. Comes with Volkswagen Certificates of Authneticity. This specific model is really rare because it was a special ordered color "524000", I'm not sure if its the only one like this. A lot has been invested in this build, and was fully restored. This is the fastest bus I have ever driven and super fun.
The motor is a stroker 2161cc with 110 cam fully built with xrta oil cooler with external oil filter for easy oil changes. During the build the engine recieved forged pistons & cylinder kit, heavy duty oil pump, main, rod & cam bearings, all new seals and gaskets. Other work done was a raised gear box, Free way Flyer, Chrome Safari front pop out windows, KYB suspension, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, Bosch performance coil, Dual webber carbs, 12 volt alternator and more. This is bus is really fast come drive it in person.
Get tons of attention wherever I go with it. Has full deluxe trim with full opening ragtop. Has full plaid interior with Mohair uplostery headliner done. Factory 7 seater interior. Full pop-out side windows option M114. Bus was restored about 5 years ago.
