Presented here is a lovely little 1975 BMW 2002, recently purchased form a local Dentist in Los Angeles this Father and Son project was nicely restored over a period of a couple years. They had commissioned a restoration shop for many of the major items and hands on fit may of the simpler items themselves. The vehicle was repainted in Granatrot Metallic with new trim and glass and underwent a full bare metal respray, new stainless steel Euro style bumpers were added at the time.
Complete braking and suspension rebuild including front and rear axle arms, new shocks , center link etc… The 4-Speed was fully rebuilt and the vehicle shifts effortlessly , the fuel system was entirely gone through with new tank, lines, weber carb , and new muffler. Interior appointments were all addressed with new door panels, Truck liner , steering wheel etc. our client recently purchased the car in 2021 and has enjoyed it thoroughly, its drives fantastic and in our video you can see it performs quite well on the highway and around city streets with no issues, suspension is very tight and the car is nimble and fun to drive.
After purchasing the car in March of 2021 a few items were redone like new tie rods, wheel alignment and engine mounts, Other than that the car has been extremely reliable and without cause for any concerns. Im sure you will enjoy as much as the previous owner has and have many new memories and road trips alike.
