312 C.I. "Thunderbird" V8 breathing through a correct Holley
4-barrel carburetor, this '56 Ford is surprisingly speedy. Behind
that Y-block 312 lies a reliable 3-speed manual transmission, a
"3-on-the-tree" column shifted manual that's not only engaging, but
also a lot of fun! Dressed like it's in a suit and tie, the
two-tone black and white paint scheme on this '56 Fairlane looks
absolutely fantastic laid out over curvy bodylines that are nice
and straight. The chrome brightwork looks excellent, and there's
plenty of it! Opening all four doors of this Fairlane reveals a
spartan interior, but also one that's functional! It features cloth
& vinyl bench seats front and rear, both comfortable and perfect
for cruising. There aren't a whole lot of options on this '56 Ford,
but that only adds to its charm! They include a heater + defroster,
an original AM pushbutton radio, factory gauges, vent windows, dual
chrome mirrors, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust system. The car
rides on some slick 15" stock Ford Fairlane wheels over thinline
whitewall tires for a look that's sure to draw eyes, and one that
looks as if it stepped straight out of 1956. This is a true
driver's car, and it runs and gets down the road wonderfully. If
