Description:
This 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet was first registered in Texas
and spent time in Arizona, North Carolina, and Florida where it was
acquired by the current owner in 2017. The car is finished in
Macadamia Metallic over brown Natural leather and powered by a
twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six that drives all four wheels via a
six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes the Sport Chrono
Package, a limited-slip rear differential, a Cocoa soft top,
adaptive sport seats, a Sport shifter, Bose audio, and PCM with
navigation. Work performed in 2023 consisted of installing
stainless steel coolant pipes, replacement of the clutch slave
cylinder and driveshaft flex joint, and a rebuild of the
convertible top hydraulic cylinders. This 997.1 Turbo cabriolet has
91k miles and is offered on dealer consignment with a wind
deflector, manufacturer's literature, service records, a clean
Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
Interior:
The cabin is upholstered in brown Natural leather, and Makassar
wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, handbrake lever,
and shift knob. Amenities include adaptive front sport seats with
Porsche crests in each headrest as well as automatic climate
control, a Sport shifter, a dashboard-mounted chronograph, cruise
control, Bose audio, and PCM with navigation. A wind deflector is
included in the sale. An optional thicker multifunction steering
wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well
as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature,
and fuel level. The odometer indicates 91k miles.
Exterior:
The car is finished in Macadamia Metallic and features bi-xenon
headlights, fog lamps, side air intakes, flared quarter panels, a
speed-dependent rear spoiler, and a power-retractable Cocoa
convertible top that can be seen both raised and lowered. The
hydraulic cylinders for the convertible top were rebuilt in July
2023. The selling dealer notes that paint protection film was
applied to the front fascia.
Drivetrain:
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was
factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport
Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10
seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 lb-ft. Stainless steel
coolant pipes were installed by Foreign Affairs Motorwerks of
Pompano Beach, Florida in June 2023. Power is sent to all four
wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip rear
differential. The clutch slave cylinder and the driveshaft flex
joint were replaced as part of the aforementioned June 2023
service. The 19" Turbo wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport
4s tires. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and
four-piston front and rear calipers over rotors measuring 13.8? at
each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension
Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM)
with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
