We just got in this very nice and what we believe to be very real
1970 "SS454" El Camino. It was purchased indirectly from a longtime
owner of 30 plus years who told us that for as long as he owned it
that he believed it to be a real SS454 El Camino too. He also told
us that he had the car completely restored/rebuilt a few years ago
but in our opinion it looks like it was just done yesterday. It is
absolutely gorgeous inside and out and it runs and drives just as
nice as it looks too! CHECK IT OUT !!
The body is super straight, super solid and super clean including
the floors, bed and frame all of which shows off it's gorgeous
"Tuxedo Black" with white stripes 2 stage base/clear paint. We just
buffed, polished and ceramic coated it to a deep luster and show
car shine! It also has "like new" chrome, trim and weather
stripping too. The black bucket seat with console interior also
looks to be in "like new" condition as well including the seats,
door panels, headliner, carpets, console and dash. It is all
very-very nice! Power comes from a strong running 454 c.i. big
block engine that sounds absolutely incredible! As mentioned we
were told it had been rebuilt during the restoration process and
after a closer inspection by removing the valve covers it appears
to be true! The valve-train is super clean like it had been rebuilt
yesterday. This 454 c.i. big block is backed up by a crisp shifting
TH-400 automatic transmission and the original 12 bolt
posi-traction rear with 3:36 gears. Other features include factory
air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes (front only),
functional cowl induction, tilt steering, remote drivers mirror,
tinted glass, `14" super sport wheels wrapped in new B.F.G. tires,
new Flow Master dual exhaust Retro sound stereo and so much more!!
These SS454 ELKY'S are actually pretty rare. Some put the
production numbers as low as only 1059 but the majority say it's
more like 3400. Either way you sure don't see a whole lot of them
and almost never find them available on the market so here is your
chance to own a super nice example! She is completely detailed,
serviced and tuned ready for it's new owners to enjoy! DON'T MISS
IT!!
