Dodge's post-war truck; the B Series was designed to offer greater
interior and cargo capacity. With a pushed-forward engine and front
axle pushed further rear; the cabin sat slightly higher; offering
great visibility and size. Mounted on rubber mounts; the cab
provided a noticeably smoother ride. With higher cargo bed sides;
cargo capacity on the truck was increased by 40% versus the
previous model. The truck was well received during its production;
which ceased in 1953.
