1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible, 390 Big Block V8 Engine with 4
Barrel Carburetor, Automatic Transmission, Bucket Seats with
storage center console, Power Brakes. Power Steering. Power
windows, White Basecoat clearcoat paint in good quality. Lines and
gaps look good, not show car. Short fins. Big chrome wraparound
rocket style rear taillights beautifully molded in the bumper. Nice
front and rear bumpers. Mock chrome hood scoop to allow for the
larger 390 BB and taller 4-barrel carburetor air cleaner. Interior
looks good with no rear seat. New arm rests. Factory correct
steering wheel with prominent T-Bird horn cap. Modern AM/FM stereo.
Yet another 3-year run for Ford's T Birds after the "Squarebird's"
three-years, the 61 - 63 were referred to as "Bullet Birds". Power
steering with a remote power steering fluid reserve. Standard
Equipment, AM Radio, Heater/Defroster, Power Brakes. Power
Steering. Power windows and remote manual adjustable drivers side
mirror. A little known fact is that this 390 engine produced more
HP than the larger 409. A Thunderbird convertible paced the
Indianapolis 500 in 1961. Featuring an even bigger engine with
Dearborn's FE V8 enlarged to 390 4V cubic inches in '61. Chrome
Valve Covers with debossed " FORD MOTORSPORTS " lettering. Chrome
air cleaner w/ 390 original or quite old sticker. Stock factory
distributor with points & vacuum advance. Metal Fan Shroud painted
at the same time / matches the car. Beautiful Black interior with
amazing wrap around ribbed stainless steel dash panel that
continues around merging with matching stainless trim on the door
panels. New vinyl dash pad professionally installed, great fit, no
folded cut edges, ripples, etc.. Floor console that curves up into
the dash, matching ribbed stainless top with Power Window switches.
Locking cubby. Vinyl covers sides. Dash features 3 big round chrome
bezel gauges. 1st Fuel on top, Temp on the bottom and turn signal
indicators on sides. 2nd is 120 mph Speedometer and odometer. 3rd
is Tach. Y spoked center of steering wheel with thin, elegant horn
ring. Beautiful center cap with gold colored Thunderbird. Billet
aluminum aftermarket gas & brake petals with black rubber inlaid,
no or less foot slip portion. Beautiful new Black convertible top
contrasts great with exterior paint. Dazzling wire spoked hub caps
with "mock" Y knock off spinners surround beautiful black plastic
center caps with a super thin gold inlaid ring, top and bottom
curved t-bird lettering with gold colored Thunderbird dead
centered. Thin white walled black side out radials in good
condition. 3-speed Cruise-O Matic MX automatic transmission. M code
Corinthian White Basecoat clearcoat paint in good quality. Lines
and gaps look good, not a show car, a driver. Short fins. Big
chrome wraparound rocket style rear taillights beautifully molded
in the bumper. Nice front and rear bumpers. Mock chrome hood scoop
to allow for the larger 390 BB and taller 4-barrel carburetor air
cleaner. Chrome topped 45 degree small fins. The chrome fin top
merges into molding that runs up the entire side of the car along
the tops of the doors and also tops the fenders. 4 mock (
gill-like) chrome vents grace the center of the doors. While we do
