Vehicle Description
This 1933 Ford Coupe Hot Rod is a street machine with a slick
style, a leather-lined interior, an upgraded suspension, four-wheel
disc brakes, and an overdrive transmission. Of course, what really
makes this an awesome custom street machine is when you lift the
hood and discover it has a performance crate V8 with a supercharger
on top!
We love glossy black because it has the kind of aggressive tone
that makes for a terrific street machine. The finish is for those
who love to drive their classics. That means it looks good out in
the Sunday sunshine without being so precious that you'll treat it
like a museum piece. After all, the details are going to prove to
you that the whole package is made to be driven and shown off. The
body is quality fiberglass construction, and that's how you get
straight lines and tight gap tolerances. And we love how the hood
and its sides are done in steel so that you get that beautifully
distinct window to the motor. It has the best hot rod details, like
the suicide doors, frenched license plate, large dual exhaust tips,
and deleted bumpers so you can see the deeply dipping grille. Those
chrome Coys alloys have a brightly polished style, and at the same
time, the 17/18 inch front/rear stagger shows off a terrifically
aggressive forward stance. And the custom-painted purple and green
graphics and coordinating pinstriping along the profile and on the
trunk is an artistic touch that instantly signals that this is a
thoughtful build.
The black leather interior is practical, comfortable, and
unmistakably custom. It's quite inviting with clean custom door
panels, plush carpeting, and high-back bucket seats. There are also
convenient features like power windows, an AM/FM/CD stereo with
Bluetooth, and provisions for air conditioning (it likely needs a
recharge to blow cold again.) When you slip into the driver's seat,
this one really reveals how they made a nice classic for real
driving. The aluminum sports steering wheel is mounted on a tilt
column. Plus, there are handy features, like crisp VDO gauges, a
tall Lokar shifter, and a dash dominated by VDO readouts.
The tidiness of the motor and plenty of polished components give
the engine bay a nice style. And more than just looking good, this
has a strong 350 cubic-inch ZZ4 performance crate V8 heart. It
features aluminum heads, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and
headers that feed the dual exhaust. And while that's enough for
street-eating performance, that's not even the best part. The
Weiand blower maximizes the muscle from the moment you twist the
key. The big power motor is mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission, which is an ideal balance of stout construction and
easy overdrive cruising. The undercarriage photos show more
investment in suspension components like a tubular A-arm front end,
four-link rear, adjustable coilovers on all four corners, and
four-wheel power disc brakes give you a terrific total driving
package.
The sale comes complete with a large receipt file documenting
thousands $$$$$ invested in this 2012 build. This is a custom Ford
