shown is a VZJ95 Prado is a left-hand drive example sold new and
lived it's entire life in Oman. Car Cave purchased this Land
Cruiser from Oman and imported it to the United States in 2023. A
3.4L V6 powers this truck and is mated to the 4FC automatic
transmission and two-speed transfer case. The smooth running
ultra-reliable Toyota 5FZ-FE is a 3.4L (3,378 cc) Quad Overhead Cam
cast iron fuel injected gasoline V6. The engine was used in the
Tacoma, 4Runner, and Tundra making this Prado easily serviceable
here in the US. The Prado shares the same platform as a 4Runner
making parts easy and affordable. Front hubs are automatic with a
floor shifted transfer case when more traction is needed. The VZJ95
is finished in two tone Toyota Paint Code K72 also known as Natural
White (Code 065) over Millenium Silver Metallic (Paint Cod 1C0).
The interior is all original Grey carpet and Grey fabric with Moon
Mist inserts. Factory equipment includes third row seating, sub
fuel tank, sunroof, power windows, power locks, power steering,
tilt wheel, center console with cup holders, power antenna, rear
ACr, power brakes, intermittent wipers, running boards, dual
airbags, front bucket seats, and rear defrost. Rear cargo space has
ample room, side storage compartments, a cargo cover, swing open
door, and pop-out side windows. The factory gauge cluster includes:
tachometer, speedometer, temperature, fuel, and analog clock (not
functional) with a center mounted Multi-Information Center (not
functional from heat damage) above the removed head unit.Recent
maintenance includes a tune-up, oil change, oil filter, AC service,
vacuum line repair, fuel system cleaning, gauge cluster rebuild,
transmission pan and gasket, air intake tube, bushing for rear
differential, and 2 wheel lug studs. The Toyota has plenty of flaws
included substandard paint work, interior defects, the rear cargo
door lock does not function, and an improperly mounted roof rack
which prevents the sunroof from opening. We made sure this Toyota
would run, start, and stop but did not perform any extensive
mechanical or aesthetic reconditioning. While in our possession we
have driven it about 300 test miles in total. The front AC does
blow cold but missing vents, rear AC has been untested.
Additionally, we did not run or fill the vehicle with the secondary
fuel tank to ensure proper operation of the system. The primary
fuel tank operates correctly. We do not have any history on this
vehicle and it will be sold as true mileage unknown.Body Data Plate

75 Years of Vehicle Lineage:With the second-generation model
released in May 1996, the Land Cruiser Prado line steered toward a
more passenger-oriented 4-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle. Both the
short-wheelbase 3-door model (5-seater) and the long-wheelbase
model (8-seater) became larger than their predecessors, and were
classified as '3 number' vehicles. The two models were
distinguished by their front styling including the headlamp design:
the short-boded model had a sportier look, whereas the long-boded
model appeared more rugged. The engine lineup consisted of a newly
included 3.4 liter 185 PS V6 DOHC gasoline engine (5VZ-FE) and a 3
liter 4-cylinder SOHC turbo diesel unit (1KZ-TE) that had powered
the previous model, although the latter increased its output 140 PS
with the addition of an intercooler. The drivetrain configuration
was switched from part-time 4WD to full-time 4WD. The same
suspension was used for both the Prado and the Hilux Surf,
consisting of an independent double wishbone and coil spring system
for the front and a 4-link coil spring system for the rear. A 2.7
liter 150 PS 4-cylinder DOHC gasoline engin (3RZ-FE) was added to
the lineup in April 1997, and the turbo diesel unit was replaced
with a 3 liter common rail diesel unit (1KD-FTV) producing 170 PS
in July 2000.Manufacturing Plant: Honsha Plant, Tahara PlantName
