Mercedes roadsters exported to the US came in many configurations
over the years. They offer essentially bulletproof reliability,
satisfying power and aggressive good looks. The SL600 combined all
that Mercedes had learned into a cultural icon that quietly and
confidently told the world its occupants had 'arrived'. This
all-original 1998 SL600 roadster has lived a very good life and is
in exceptional condition. The factory Brilliant Silver Metallic
finish is in outstanding condition, as is the grey leather
interior. This is a comfortable cockpit with burlwood accents,
climate control A/C, AM/FM/CD/Cassette, heated 6-way power seats
w/memory and tilt/telescopic wheel. Other features include
front/side airbags, power tinted windows/locks/mirrors, anti-theft
and cruise. Power comes by the 6.0-liter Bosch Injected DOHC V-12
engine that delivers 389 hp-420 lb/ft to a five speed OD automatic
gearbox. The SL600 has power steering, 4-wheel ABS power disc
brakes w/Brake Assist, fully independent suspension, Traction
Control, Electronic Stability Control and stainless exhaust.
Factory 17" AMG silver aluminum wheels mount performance radials in
excellent condition. The Mercedes also comes with two tops - a
power operated soft top w/integrated tonneau cover and rollover bar
plus a hardtop w/stand for storage. Look at the photos again, judge
